LOK Park Races for a £1 !

If you have yet to join an orienteering club, then join LOK and get the four LOK Park Race events for just £1 each … your membership is almost covered by these four events alone, and you continue getting discounts at other events.!  Full details can be found here.

25th Frolic Anniversary event – Saturday 21st July – Heathrow!

Revised date and a new map … and yes, it’s a Saturday!  Ideally located to run before you jet-off on holiday!  Cranford Countryside Park near Heathrow … sounds urban but you’ll be in woods with nice paths for 80% of the time.  Full details here, with photos to encourage you to try this small, but perfectly formed park ….. and a prize for the first person to tell the organiser at the event what the connection is to The Blood Donor (think 1961).

The 2012 Park Race Series

The Series is finalised … 12 events from May to July on sunny mid-week evenings .. full and up to date details can be found on the Park Race Facebook page.

Jubilee Festival Orientering Weekend: 2nd – 5th June 2012

LOKs plans are in full swing for organising a Middle Distance race as part of the four-day Jubilee Weekend.  The event will be held on the Bank Holiday Monday  (4th June). Fine sunny weather is guaranteed!  Full details here.
