TERRAIN | Open parkland and some wooded areas on a steep slope. The park is currently very dry but studded shoes are advised for the Green and Short Green. The Green and Short Green cross a main road several times, please take great care, especially if not crossing at a designated crossing point. Unfortunately, we can only accept those age 16 and over on those courses, or under 16 accompanied by an adult. The Park is particularly busy at the moment; please take care to give the general public (dog walkers, families, etc) priority and observe social distancing. |
TRAVEL/PARKING | Parking and start/finish/download will be at the North-East end of Alexandra Palace. Parking Fee £3 per day which is a donation to Alexandra Palace charity. You can pay by contactless or cash. We do not have dedicated parking for the event. If the parking by the Palace is full, there may be places a little further away in the Grove parking area. OS Grid Ref: TQ297901 GPS: 51.595307,-0.128761 Nearest Postcode: N22 7AY what3words woods.posts.design Public Transport: From Alexandra Palace station (on the line from Moorgate) it is a 13 minute stroll. Please check for any engineering works which may affect your rail journey. The W3 bus runs every 5-8 minutes from Finsbury Park to Northumberland Park and stops right nearby to the parking – alight at the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink stop. Those who arrive without a car are advised to leave any bags (at your own risk) next to download by the finish. Download will be permanently staffed. |

COURSES | Green 4.4 KM Short Green 3.1 KM Yellow 1.2 KM Start and Finish close to Parking. Full body cover is not essential due to the open nature of the terrain and few brambles. Shorts are permitted. |
START | Starts: 10:00 – 12:00 Please try to adhere roughly to your selected start block. However, if you arrive early or late, just go to the start and queue up. There will be two start lanes – one for Yellow/Short Green and one for Green. Please use the hand sanitiser provided. Courses close: 13:30 There will be a First Aid kit at the Start. |
PUNCHING | SI electronic contactless punching will be used including for the finish. Contact punching can also be used. Hire SI cards have been pre-allocated and will be available for collection by the start. Download is by the Finish. You will get a splits printout. |
RESULTS | No results display on the day but results, routegadget etc will be available soon afterwards via the LOK website. |

FACILITIES | Toilets and refreshments close by at the Lakeside Café. The toilets and café open at 10.00. There are tables outside the café but you need to order inside and for that you need to wear a mask. The café takes card and cash payments. |
