The History of London Orienteering Klubb

LOK was founded in January 1971 at a meeting in the Smugglers Tavern, Warren Street. The first Chair was John Pratt and the Secretary was Andrew Shaw.

The inaugural event was held at Bookham Common on 23rd May 1971, mapped, planned and organised by Hilary Spicer.

In January 1978, the Klubb magazine Lokation was started by Miriam Rosen.
