50:50 split of wooded paths and parkland comprising ancient hedgerows and hay meadows. The area has only been used once for orienteering in 2022. Courses designed to avoid undergrowth, but those susceptible to irritation may wish to wear leg cover. The race is suitable for beginners. 1km walk to start from pub.

Travel: The pub is 200m from Wembley Park (Jubilee and Metropolitan Underground lines). Parking available in the small car park at the pub (register at the bar) or on residential streets on the way to the start. Please park considerately.
Facilities: Toilets, post-race food and drink.
Entry
Registration: Between 18:00 and 19:15.
Start Times: Between 18:15 and 19:30. Courses close 20:30.
Your entry fee includes a full colour map printed on waterproof paper, which you can keep as a souvenir after your run, and a printout of your race time and splits at the end of the race.
Entry fees: Students and Juniors £5; All others £8. £2 discount for members of British Orienteering. £2 surcharge for late entries – after midnight Sunday 7 July.

Electronic timing will be used. SIACs can be used in contactless mode. If you do not have your own SI card, then you can hire one for the event for £1 (SIAC hire £2.50). A penalty of £30 will be charged for hired SI cards that are lost or not returned, and such cards will be blacklisted.
Courses: Long 5.25km, Short 2.5km (likely running distance)
Off-path routes are unlikely to be faster, but long grass leads us to recommend leg cover. Paths are all dry.
