London City Race 2022 – King’s Cross / Somers Town – Sunday 4th September 2022

LOK are proud to present the 2nd event of the London City Weekend 2022 – a shorter urban (longest course 6.8 km) event around the King’s Cross and Somers Town area.

EVENT CENTRE

Within 5 minutes walk of King’s Cross/St Pancras mainline, underground and international stations

TRAVEL: Use public transport – there will be no provided car parking, and there is very limited (paid) parking available in the area.
FACILITIES: The event centre will have enquiries, download, toilets and an unsupervised bag drop

ENTRIES
Enter through SiEntries for either or both the Saturday and Sunday London City Races. Entries are by age class if you wish to be competitive within an age class.  You can of course run “up” competitively – for example a Man Over 40 can enter and run Men’s Open. However, you can also run on any course “down” from the one for your own age class by selecting the Other Course X option.

Fees are:
Up to 25 July, £9 for adult BOF members and £4 for student and junior BOF members
Up to 28 August, £10 for adult BOF members and £5 for student and junior BOF members
Thereafter, subject to map availability, £12 for adult BOF members and £5 for student and junior BOF members
£2 supplement for those who are not members of BOF

SI cards may be hired – £2.50 for SIAC cards and £1 for SI cards.  Hired cards that are lost or not returned will be charged at £65 for SIAC cards and £40 for SI cards.

Entries will close at 10.45 on 4 September.

Course 1 6.8 km, Men’s Open (M18-35)
Course 2 5.6 km, Veteran Men (M40+), Women’s Open (W18-35)
Course 3 4.7 km, Super Veteran Men (M55+), Veteran Women (W40+)
Course 4 3.5 km, Ultra Veteran Men (M65+), Super Veteran Women (W55+)
Course 5 2.8 km Hyper Veteran Men (M75+), Ultra Veteran Women (W65+), Hyper Veteran Women (W75+)
Course 6 3.2 km Junior Men (M16-), Junior Women (W16-)
Course 7 1.3 km Young Junior Men (M12-), Young Junior Women (W12-)
Course lengths are optimum route. The courses are subject to final controlling.

In addition you have the option to enter any of the non-open courses if you want to run a different distance from your age class.
