Map and Terrain. The map is 1:10,000, with streets, paths and open areas marked. It will be printed on waterproof paper, with the clues for each control point location printed on a separate sheet.
Event location. The Lord Palmerston public house, Dartmouth Park Hill, Tufnell Park, London, NW5 1HU. OS Grid Ref: 528997,186153 / what3words: ///having.moods.skins http://streetmap.co.uk/map?X=528997&Y=186153&A=Y&Z=106

The nearest Tube is Tufnell Park on the Northern Line (High Barnet Branch). Exit the station and head North/North-West up Dartmouth Park Hill for about 300m. The Lord Palmerston pub is on the left at the corner of Dartmouth Park Hill and Chetwynd Road.
The Course. A 60-minute score course, with control sites worth between 10 and 50 points. Collect as many points as possible in whichever order you like within 60 minutes. Controls starting with 1 are worth 10 points; those starting with 2 are worth 20 points etc. The penalty is 1 point for every 2 seconds late back (so you’ll lose 30 points if you are a minute late).
Equipment. You will need a pen to mark your answers, a watch for timing, and an electronic dibber to record your start and finish. You are advised to bring a torch and compass and are strongly advised to wear a hi-viz / light-coloured clothing for extra visibility as it will be dark. Bags/clothing may be left at your own risk in that part of the pub that we have reserved.
