| ULEZ | Trent Park is within the London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). If your vehicle doesn’t meet the ULEZ emission standards and isn’t exempt, you need to pay a £12.50 daily charge to drive inside the zone. | Pre-entry | 60 mins score course via SiEntries. Closing date: 10:45, Friday, 26 December 2025. One map / one SI(AC) card per entry only. |
| Electronic Punching | SPORTident (SI) electronic punching using standard or contactless (SIAC) timing chips. It will be a timed (no need to punch) mass Start and punching Finish for everybody. |
| Fees | Up to 23:59, Sunday, 14 December 2025: seniors & groups: £9; juniors and full-time students: £4. Thereafter: seniors & groups: £11; juniors and full-time students: £6. Additional charge of £2 where not British Orienteering members or Trent Park residents. Timing chip hire: standard (SI) £1 or contactless (SIAC) £2. You will need to hire a timing chip if you don’t have one. Charge for lost timing chips: £43 (standard) or £70 (contactless). There is no great advantage in newcomers using contactless: younger children often prefer the activity of placing the timing chip in the control. |
| Public transport | Oakwood Underground station on the Piccadilly line – a direct connection from Central London every 5 minutes. 1.2 km walk from station along Snakes Lane, to the car park. Allow 15 minutes. Tube trains are scheduled to run to Oakwood on Boxing Day. Should, however, trains not be running to Oakwood, then bus 121 from Turnpike Lane, Wood Green or Southgate (all Piccadilly Line Stations) – alight at Oakwood Underground station. |
| Directions | Signposted off the A110 near Oakwood Underground station. Turn off the M25 at J24 (Potters Bar) onto the A111 heading south towards Cockfosters and Southgate; after 3 miles turn left at the roundabout onto the A110, then after half a mile, just after Oakwood Underground station, turn left into Snakes Lane. |
| Terrain | Mixture of gently undulating open parkland and wooded areas with some brambles. Review the 2024 map on RouteGadget. |

| Competition format | Score event – collect as many points as you can within 60 minutes. Controls 110 to 119 will be worth 10 points each Controls 120 to 129 will be worth 20 points each Controls 130 to 139 will be worth 30 points each Penalty of 20 points for each minute, or part thereof, late Bonus of 10 points for each complete minute early provided all controls have been visited. Shortest time taken will be used to rank finishers with the same points |
| Start and Finish location | Start within 5 minutes walk from car park. Finish very near to car park – courses close at 12:30. Note, however, penalties apply after 60 minutes – see ‘Competition format’ above. |

| Toilets | No toilets at the car park, but park toilets in the centre of the park 0.8 km walk from car park. The park toilets also available as a short diversion en route from M25. Cockfosters and Oakwood tube stations also have toilets. |
| Cancellation policy | LOK reserves the right to cancel or curtail this event whether for operational reasons, Force Majeure, or other reasons, in which case LOK reserves the right to retain all or part of the entry fees to recover event-specific costs. |
